Favorite gig from yester-year

When I was younger, my little brother (Kort) and I had theee most awesome gig.  We loved it.  We were the entertainers for the Hardware Ranch Elk Refuge Moonlight ride and dinner.  I remember we would gather all of our instruments and gear and put it in the back of our truck (with shell).  Then we would grab our portable DVD player and watch Gilligan’s Island the whole way there.  It put us in a good mood and once we got there, the food was the whole reason for singing.

To this day, we have yet to experience Prime Rib like we used to have at Hardware Ranch.

We continued this gig for 3 years (weekly) until the restaurant shut down.  We were so sad.  The ranch no longer has a license through the government to serve food.  But, we still do visit the ranch to see the elk in the winter.  Ahhh… the good ol’ days.
